IGB24053 provides higher yields, an enhanced disease resistance package, improved physical grain quality, strong standability and head retention, along with malting quality attributes.
- Adaptable, high yielding imidazoline tolerant barley, offering 5% yield improvement over MaximusA CL (2018-25 national InterGrain MET).
- Quick-mid maturity similar to MaximusCL and a little slower than Spartacus CL.
- IGB24053 has been evaluated extensively in InterGrain disease resistance nurseries. IGB24053 has a very strong disease resistance package with very good resistance to net form net blotch (MRMSp^) and spot form net blotch (MRp^), full resistance to powdery mildew (Rp^) and useful resistance to leaf rust (MRMSp^).
- Erect plant type, with excellent lodging tolerance and head retention.
