  • Has superior net form net blotch resistance, as well as good powdery mildew resistance.

Banks has a low straw volume making it suitable for no-till farming systems. It has good straw strength and good head retention.The physical grain properties of Banks are, on average, superior to RGT Planet for grain plumpness, hectolitre weight and brightness.

If accredited Banks has the potential to be a premium export malt variety.

Banks has an End Point Royalty of of $4/tonne + GST.
